Our MUD 101 signature pottery class, build confidence on the pottery wheel or hand building off the wheel in our signature 6 to 8-week course(depending on the session and holidays), with one 3-hour class each week. Whether you're brand new to clay or returning to build on previous experience, MUD givesyou the time, guidance, and practice to develop your skills at your own pace.
You'll learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including wedging, centering, opening, pulling walls, trimming, and glazing, hand building with coils, slabs or pinching, while exploring forms and surface decorating techniques that are meaningful to you. With small class sizes and plenty of individual instruction, each student is encouraged to grow from wherever they are in their pottery journey.
Your course includes:
One 3-hour class each week for 6 to 8 weeks (depending on the session)
10 kg of clay
Use of all studio tools and equipment
Unlimited use of our studio glazes
All bisque and glaze firings
One make-up class per session (subject to availability)
By the end of the course, you'll have a collection of functional pottery and, more importantly, the confidence and skills to continue your ceramics journey.

Course fees are non-refundable.
One make-up class is permitted per session and must be completed within the same session, subject to availability.
